Defining your brand and your brand message

  • Lesson 1: Overview of marketing in the modern world for Travel Advisors, and why Instagram is a great fit for our industry.

  • Lesson 2: Purpose- The purpose of your travel business has to be more about THEM and less about YOU.

  • Lesson 3: People- Who do you want to serve in your business? Understand how your business impacts their lives can help you better serve them.

  • Lesson 4: Product - Learn to focus on what you’re actually selling (THE EXPERIENCE) that makes a difference in the life of your clients.

Module 2

Creating your content for Instagram: The right photos, compelling captions, and a hashtag strategy

  • Lesson 1: The type of content you should share on Instagram. Learn to create personalized “buckets” so that you easily know what you will be and should be posting and not feel overwhelmed always trying to figure it out.

  • Lesson 2: 3 ways to gather photo content: DIY, Curate, and Hire. Learn how to choose photos that gain attention.

  • Lesson 3: How to write compelling captions. Start writing copy in a way that gets people to actually respond on your posts, and engage back with you by creating conversations.

  • Lesson 4: Create a hashtag strategy. Learn how to pair a visually appealing photo with targeted hashtags so your content gets discovered more easily by people who don’t already follow you.

Module 3

Getting Engagement on Instagram

  • Lesson 1: Become a storyteller and learn how to better share elements of your story to connect with you audience.

  • Lesson 2: Create a daily strategy for engagement. Outline the time spent on the app to foster engagement and grow your community. Nurture the following you have and Grow the following you want.

Module 4

An easy-to-follow Posting Strategy that gets results

  • Lesson 1: Learn how often to post on Instagram. We get to show up in the feed of our prospective clients each and every day, reminding them what we do, what makes us special and unique, and how we can help them. 

  • Lesson 2: How to come up with ideas even when you aren’t doing anything interesting. Learn how to brainstorm and plan ahead for the content you want to create and share.

  • Lesson 3: See my weekly routine for Instagram and my outline for how I prepare my social media content at the beginning of the week.

  • Lesson 4: Learn how to outline a month’s worth of content. A way to sit down in one afternoon and map out all of your posts for one month in just a few hours. This gives you a pattern of execution to follow.
